Not that I watched or would be otherwise interested, but Google News informs me this morning that someone called Carrie Prejean, the currently reigning Miss California, is in trouble for announcing her support of marriage during the "Miss USA" pageant, and believes she lost on account of it. Apparently the organization that crowns Miss Californias is also embarrassed.
It just goes to show the kind "liberal" intolerance that can be so damaging, and from which we suffer much in the Church. Allegedly "liberal" folks are happy to have you think freely and live according to your conscience, as long as you think just like they do and don't dare to suggest that anything anybody does might be wrong or unacceptable.
Good for you, Carrie. Truth is the real beauty. You win.

Ok, I may as well open the debate myself...which is preferable? "Misses California" or "Miss Californias" as I have rendered it above?
I was wondering the same thing as I read this post. I believe "Misses California" would be right, but it does leave one wondering off to where Mister California has gotten. Do I enjoy grammar too much? Probably.
