The Body and Blood of Christ

The gift of the Eucharist extends the gift of the Incarnation and the grace of the Lord's sacrifice into our midst and our lives. Follow this link for my Corpus Christi homily.

nice homily, Fr. C! i'm glad that i got to hear it "in person" at the 5:00 Mass yesterday. the feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ is a beautiful feast day. in my own personal reflection of the readings and what this feast day is all about, i feel that "we" (all of us) are the Body of Christ and we are called to share this with those all around us. also, too, in my reflection, i am a little saddened by the fact that many who receive the Body of Christ in the Holy Eucharist do not receive with the great reverence, awe and response that they should. if people really understood WHO they were really receiving in the Holy Eucharist, there would be great crowds coming to Mass everyday and more people would come to adore the Lord in Adoration. PEACE! ~tara t~
