In a more southern location, I have found Catholic treasure, like a bust of the Sacred Heart of Jesus w/candle holders, for a couple dollars at a thrift store! Oh, joy...it's great to shop around here! Anyway, I have a family treasure....my grandma's 1914 missal(ette). A quite small one she carried to Mass. The 30 days prayer to Mary is in there and very efficacious. God bless and a blessed Lent!MemoriaDeihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13826704561653445661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26883902.post-44498352352982220252009-02-24T22:56:00.000-05:002009-02-24T22:56:00.000-05:00these are really nice, Fr. I actually have a 1962 Missale Romano-Seraphicum that has the Confiteor in it that way, but the book is pretty trashed and not worth a photo.

I have also presumed that Summorum pontificum restores our general privileges with regard to the usus antiquior, i.e. offering Mass without shoes and covering the head with the amice instead of the biretta. At least those are the differences I've managed to learn about so far.Brother Charleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07780326836452864455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26883902.post-80913357371358693662009-02-24T15:45:00.000-05:002009-02-24T15:45:00.000-05:00That is Awesome!Does summorum pontificum give you ...That is Awesome!

Does summorum pontificum give you and your servers the right to pray the confiteor that way at mass?

or are you limited to the missal of Bl.
