Franciscan Blogosphere

It has really been a joy to get in touch with so many other Franciscan blogs over these months. This is just a note to say that, often for good reason, some have become dormant for the summer. I'm going to stop checking them every day, so let me know when you get going again. Thanks!

  1. An easy way to keep track of new posts on folks' blogs -- without having to actually visit them all the time! -- is by subscribing to a blog's webfeed, using what's called a feed reader (also called aggregator). A feed reader service that I highly recommend is Bloglines. It's free, user-friendly, and web-based, so you don't have to download or install anything on your computer.

(To get an idea of what it all looks like, you can see the feeds I read at my Bloglines account).)

    Just a suggestion! :-)

Faithful, or even just thoughtful criticisms are always welcome. Uninformed rudeness to other posters or to the Lord and His Church is not.

I also reserve the right to reject comments promoting things like private revelations and fringe points of view, if it seems to me like they are being presented in a misleading way.

If you raise a disagreement with something I say but I do not respond, please do not feel slighted or insulted, or imagine that this automatically means I disagree or agree with you. It's just that I don't find the comment box to be a constructive medium for certain forms of debate.
