Thank You

It's a big deal for a Catholic blogger to have a post picked up by Fr. Z, so I want to say thank you.

Thank you, Fr. Z, for your ministry, for the cross-post and plug today, for everything I have learned from WDTPRS, for personal advice, and for the prayers and good example of the friends I have met through Z-chat.

  1. Great blog. I came over here via the link from Fr. Z's blog, and I am glad I did. Thank you so much for your posts -- what an interesting glimpse into your ministry.

I am going to put your blog on the blogroll over at my blog Mark in Spokane. If you do reciprocal linking, I'd appreciate a link to my site on your blogroll, but if not, that's ok.

Again, thanks so much for blogging. I plan on checking back regularly to get some wisdom!

    Cheers.

Mark - I've been coming here for a few weeks now and found Father Charles to be one of the wisest, entertaining and humble priests blogging on the internet. You'll definitely enjoy his posts.

  5. I agree with QR.

"Genuine" is one of the best words to describe Fr Charles and his blog, I think.

I saw that and was very happy for you. I tell friends about your blog all the time, and hopefully your online ministry will continue to grow.

As an aside, if you happen to be in the Philadelphia area either September 22 or September 29, Villanova University (my school) is doing a two part series on the relevance of the Franciscan Tradition. Day one is hosted by Rev. Brian Jordan, O.F.M., and day two is hosted by Rev. Kenneth Himes, O.F.M. Just a heads up...

I have heard them both and you're in for a treat.

How nice to see the connections that are made in cyberspace. I've been visiting Friar Charles' blog for many years, and it remains one of my favorite places in cyberspace.

Congratulations Father Charles. I hope that all of Father Z's readers follow his advice to visit your blog.

Faithful, or even just thoughtful criticisms are always welcome. Uninformed rudeness to other posters or to the Lord and His Church is not.

I also reserve the right to reject comments promoting things like private revelations and fringe points of view, if it seems to me like they are being presented in a misleading way.

If you raise a disagreement with something I say but I do not respond, please do not feel slighted or insulted, or imagine that this automatically means I disagree or agree with you. It's just that I don't find the comment box to be a constructive medium for certain forms of debate.
