I Hope There Are More Selling Points

Today I was talking to a priest who half-jokingly (I think) invited me to think about going over to the diocesan priesthood.

    I'd beg to differ. No one wears the pants in my archdiocese.

    Then again, were they to offer you a fast-track you to be a bishop...

    Didn't an angel come to St. Thomas to give him the consolation of knowing he would never be a bishop?

Faithful, or even just thoughtful criticisms are always welcome. Uninformed rudeness to other posters or to the Lord and His Church is not.

I also reserve the right to reject comments promoting things like private revelations and fringe points of view, if it seems to me like they are being presented in a misleading way.
