Funny story Fr. Charles: at previous parish to which I belonged, there was a developmentally disabled Acolyte who was very devoted and had been an Acolyte for over 30 years. In his zeal to serve, he would light the Paschal candle a full 30-45 minutes prior to Mass. The result was similar to what you show in the pic. He had to be continually reminded to wait. Alas, the poor pastor eventually hid the tapers from the Acolyte...

If I were a pastor with such a devout server, I would look for a benefactor to finance a few more pounds of paschal candle.
Uh, didn't the Easter Season end two weeks ago?
Here at Extreme Unction chapel, things are always a little off.
If you had a taller pedestal for the candle it would all be good.
